Noa Román-Muñiz, an associate professor in the Department of Animal Sciences and a CSU Extension dairy specialist, teaches both CSU students and dairy workers how to keep animals — and themselves — safe and healthy.

We celebrated the 75th anniversary of the Class of 1943 at Homecoming this year. Representing the class was Dr. John Matsushima (B.S., ’43; M.S., ’45). John and other members of that class spent their time on campus beneath a cloud of war.
The college experience of a few Aggie students during WWII was uniquely challenging. John Matsushima and other Japanese American students faced a great deal of discrimination following the bombing of Pearl Harbor.
Army veteran Kyle Althouse graduates this semester with a B.S. in business administration and is looking forward to a civilian career after a 7-year journey in the military that took him from South Carolina to Afghanistan and Germany.
