When he arrived at San Diego State University, Mario Garcia (B.S., ’23) was ready to enter a career in cybersecurity. But when COVID hit, a career spent in front of a computer screen became far less appealing. That’s when Garcia decided to transfer to CSU and pursue a degree and career in health and exercise sciences, which ultimately landed him an internship with the LA Dodgers.
