Last month, hundreds of Rams donned their cap and gown, walked across the stage at Moby Arena to receive their degrees, and stepped into a new world ready to begin pursuing their careers. It can be daunting to enter the professional world, but your Alumni Association is here with great resources to help your career thrive.
Ellie Martinez (B.S., ’23) is a soon-to-be new alumna who truly shows what it means to live the values that makes Colorado State University great. She's also this year's Albert C. Yates Award winner and newest CSU Alumni Association Life Member.
Keeping over 250,000 living CSU alumni connected is no small feat. Members of the Alumni Association are the backbone of this effort, making it possible for the Alumni Association team to meet Rams where they are. Alumni Association Lifetime Member Neil Cowan (B.A., ’94) doesn't take his Ram Pride for granted, and he knows what when it comes to living up to the ideals of his alma mater all he has to do is remind himself that service and volunteering is the main thread in the Ram community fabric.

Green and gold run deep in the veins of the Heap family: Matt (B.A., ’94) and Beth (B.S., ’93) Heap fell in love on campus, are Lifetime Alumni Association Members, and their daughter, Taylor (B.S., ’22), represents the third generation to attend Colorado State University. The family's Ram Pride will culminate on May 13 when they kick-off Commencement by ringing the Old Main Bell.
On September 11, 2001, Jason Dahl was one of the pilots on United Flight 93, whose courageous passengers and crew thwarted a terrorist attack. The plane crashed outside of Shanksville, Pennsylvania, killing all on board. National tragedies touch us all, and sometimes we discover people with intimate connections to those events close to home. Steve Jacques (B.S., ’74) is one of them.
Ebenezer “Eb” Yebuah (B.S., ’12; M.S., ’14) is also known as Mawule, which means “Only God Knows” in the Ewe tribe of Ghana. He is a singer, recording artist, songwriter, and social activist. Born in Accra, Ghana, Mawule and his family moved to Denver when he was 10. He started singing in church choirs at the age of 14 and writing music soon thereafter.
