Ashley Stiles (B.S., ’07) brought a diverse range of real estate experience to Northern Colorado when she opened Tribe Development in 2019. Her community-based approach is yielding exciting new ways to involve local residents in the design and function of neighborhood projects.
Karen (B.S., ’88) and Steve (B.S., ’87) have a lot of Ram and State Pride. They met and married while at CSU, Steve and their two sons all played for the Rams, all three of their children attended CSU, and today the family continues to live their aggie roots by operating a cattle ranch in North Park. That's why they'll be ringing the Old Main Bell on Oct. 28 before the Rams take on Air Force.
Bill Guyton (B.S., ‘84) has traveled the world for nearly 40 years in support of agricultural and educational initiatives, many associated with producing sustainable cocoa. His years abroad shaped his life and informed his volunteer efforts and philanthropy … and it all started at CSU.
For Isabella Wells (B.S., '22), arriving at CSU was like lighting a spark that ignited her passion and helped her become the person she is today. Whether it was finding the connection between criminology and animal advocacy, helping rescue elephants, or leading her to graduate studies in Scotland, Wells owes it all to a journey that began with a simple campus tour.
Great things happen when like minds come together. Kristie (B.S., ’82) and Jim Docheff, Jr. (B.S., ’83) are working to ensure a successful venture that seven alumni began at the Holiday Bowl in 1997 continues to shape the leaders of tomorrow.
Karen (B.S., ’80) and Randy (B.S., ’80) Blach are part of an extended family of more than 80 people who have attended Colorado State University. Although they have set the bar high for relatives who follow, they gladly welcome the next generation and see a bright future for CSU and its influential role in agriculture.
Jenny (B.S., ’17; M.A.G.R., ’20) and Jake Bennett (B.A., ’17) have deep connections to Colorado State University, and they are now helping young alumni establish theirs, too.
Now in its 99th year, the Painting of the A remains one of the most cherished CSU traditions that helps alumni, and the entire Fort Collins community, stay connected and get excited for a new school year.
With thousands of varieties of perennial and annual flowering plants, the CSU Trial Garden is one of the premiere public garden experiences in the Rocky Mountain Region. August 6 is the perfect time to visit the gardens. Not only because the flowers are peaking, but because the public can vote for their favorite.
