Rams supporters come through on Day of Giving

Nearly 2,000 donors from around the world showed their love for CSU by giving just short of $300,000 to support their favorite causes. Donors included alumni, friends of the university, faculty and staff, and even current students. Together they supported 87 scholarships and provided 1,846 meals for current and future students.

Gifts from around the world

“Once again, our CSU family showed their Ram pride and generosity by participating in our Proud To Be Day of Giving, making gifts to areas they care about most,” said Kim Tobin, vice president of university advancement. “From Fort Collins to Ecuador, CSU alumni, faculty and staff, students, and friends have made a powerful difference for our entire community and reinforced that Rams really do take care of Rams.”

In all, donors supported 242 campus funds. Donations came from across the world, including Australia, Ecuador and Saudi Arabia. Domestic Rams did their part, too, with gifts arriving from 49 states (hello, Arkansas!)

And gifts came in every amount imaginable, ranging from $10 to $25,000. As a result, CSU easily beat its goal of 1,500 donations for the day.
