Casey is an outdoor enthusiast who loves to run, hike, and play with her dogs and reindeer in the Colorado mountains. When Casey’s son, Beau, was diagnosed with Lupus at 13 years old, she became his fierce protector and medical advocate. Over the course of Beau’s illness, Casey experienced the heartache and loneliness that comes with seeing a child suffering. Most recently, Casey’s book, The Match and the Spark, was released to showcase the struggles and triumphs of dealing with a grave childhood illness.
