Whether it’s the bonfire, a picture with CAM the Ram, or honoring our distinguished alumni, there is a CSU Homecoming tradition for everyone. So many that sometimes it can be hard to choose. That didn’t stop us from asking Rams what their favorite tradition is.

When Ken Pytluk (B.S., '98) found FlingGolf he was hooked. In just two short years he went from being a novice to the first FlingGolf world champion.
With thousands of varieties of perennial and annual flowering plants, the CSU Trial Garden is one of the premiere public garden experiences in the Rocky Mountain Region. August 6 is the perfect time to visit the gardens. Not only because the flowers are peaking, but because the public can vote for their favorite.
In March 2021, Maxine Cofino (B.A., ’10) and Desiree Munoz opened The Lemon Girls stand in San Antonio, Texas, offering fresh-squeezed beverages made from a host of locally grown produce. The business was an immediate success, but Cofino’s journey to that cool moment was as colorful as her luscious libations.

After a two-year hiatus, the Lagoon Concert Series is back, and no one is as excited for the return of live music than Connie Hanrahan. For the past 25 years, her company, Mantooth Co., has been producing and promoting the beloved CSU summer tradition.
