Pets are beloved the world over, and as the people of Ukraine continue to be displaced or flee the Russian invasion, their pets go with them. Jon Geller (D.V.M., ’95), who founded the Street Dog Coalition, which cares for the pets of the homeless in America, has been part of an international effort to keep pets and their owners united and is now attempting to rescue pets inside the war-ravaged country.

Linda Meserve: The Power Behind the Purchase

Linda (Morgan) Meserve (B.S., ’86) has had a distinguished, 31-year career in Colorado State University’s Procurement Services, eventually being named chief procurement officer emerita. She got there by
consistently overcome obstacles — whether learning to swim at an early age or proving herself in a male-dominated field — and she and the University are better for it.
