Senior Kelcey Bedard earns weekly conference recognition for the second time this indoor season and the fifth time in her career.
Nine-month-old orphan Annie was destined for a hard-knock life when she was diagnosed with a congenital heart defect. But the shelter kitten was given a second chance when veterinarians from Colorado State University’s Veterinary Teaching Hospital performed corrective surgery.
A lifelong love of health, fitness, and science has inspired alumna Jane Sullivan’s (M.S., ’90) support of the Department of Health and Exercise Science.
Albert Yates, who left a strong, lasting legacy as the 12th president of Colorado State University, received the Founders Day Medal on Feb. 11 as CSU celebrated its 149th birthday.
The small number of Black students enrolled at CSU in the late 1960s left indelible marks on this institution, creating better educational opportunities and a more equitable environment for all who came after them. No one gave more to this effort than Vivian (Lee) Kerr (B.S., ’69; M.Ed., ’77).
This year marks the 50th anniversary of the CSU men’s basketball program’s most successful season.
Boyd “Tiny” Grant (B.S., ’57; M.Ed., ’62) played baseball and basketball for the Rams in the 1950s, went on to an outstanding career as a basketball coach, and amassed many wins and wonderful stories along the way.
